Services

Free Consultation

We'll chat to make sure we are a good fit, in a coffee shop or at your home.

Phone & Email Support

I'm just a call or text away. If you have questions, concerns or need to talk about anything related to your birth or postpartum fears.

2 Prenatal Visits

You deserve some special pampering right now. I plan to give it to you. I can give a comforting touch, breastfeeding advice session, or whatever you need to feel calm and at ease with your pregnancy and ease your fears for your labor and delivery.

Professional Information

Are you wondering about the side effects of pain medication, or what is the average length of labor, or what to expect during your delivery? What about VBACs and recovery after a cesarean section? We can talk about it.

As a Doula, I  Do Not:

During labor

I'm a constant figure at your side. I can calm you and keep you focused and if labor is long, I can give your spouse or partner a break and never leave you alone. You got this!

Baby’s first feeding Support

You might want to breastfeed but don't feel confident. Or you want to bottle feed. I can help you with both options.

Perform any clinical tasks

While a midwife or obstetrician performs medical procedures, as your doula I provide pain management and emotional support. My only concern is making sure the birthing mom is as comfortable as possible and progressing through each stage of labor.

Make decisions for you

I'm here to provide education about labor delivery and breastfeeding and be sure you're aware of your options. The decisions about your birth are up to you. I stand behind whatever decisions you make without judgment or personal bias.

Postpartum follow-up visit

When you're ready for a helping hand, I'll come for a visit to do whatever you need, even if you want to take a nap or a shower without worrying about who's watching the baby.

Community Referrals

Having trouble finding a pediatrician? Need a person to turn to about postpartum depression, I can help you find local resources.

Speak to the staff on your behalf

You should feel empowered to direct your birth experience as much as possible. I provide birth and breastfeeding education and encourage communication between you and the medical staff to reach that goal. You or your family speak to the staff about your care and any concerns you have.

Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience

No matter if this is your first baby or your fifth, each birth is a special miracle. As a birth professional, I do not impose my personal beliefs, opinions or preferences on you. I respect your family's right to make choices that are in your best interest.
